I've been wanting to change the blog's layout for a while now, but the choices of templates from blogger are quite limited. I haven't found a blogger template that I really like, and since I'm no graphic designer or html savvy, I can't create my own layout. By chance, I've come across another blog hosting service, wordpress.com, which has some very nice looking designs. So, I'm testing that out to see how I like it.
Check out the new version here. Do you like the new look? Post your comments here (or there) and let me know. Thanks!
For the regular visitors of this blog who were disappointed with the recent lack of updates, I sincerely apologize. I was accepted to an accelerated nursing program and will be attending it in May. And so, in addition to work, I was busy with completing all the required paperwork and travelling down to the school to take care of business. Thus, blog updates will occur on an ocassional basis, instead of regularly. Once again, to those who care, I apologize.
Below are some goodies from the latest K-dramas, namely, Que Sera Sera and Witch Amusement. Enjoy!

Just a quick hello to everyone! I'm going out to dinner tonight and I'm doing a second marathon of Fantasy Couple during the weekend. Heehee. Thus, updates will resume next week.
I'm going down to LA for an interview so I'll be away for 2-3 days. I'm gonna drive down there with a friend for the first time... I'm excited but also nervous. Hopefully, we won't get lost too much coz the two of us together equals little to no sense of direction. Anyone interested in reading about my "adventures" once I get back? I don't have a digital camera, so if I do yap about the trip, you're just gonna have to use your imagination.
Anyway, I was making a mix CD for my trip and these songs brought back good memories. Enjoy these clips!
A Millionaire's First Love OST Uploaded by: winterlove6
This movie is cliche to the max. However, I enjoyed it thanks to the beautiful countryside scenery and the charms of its leading actor and actress.
What's Up, Fox? OST "Like Me" by Lee Sang Kyu Uploaded by: crysalide
The Origin of Love (from Hedwig and the Angry Inch OST) Lyrics provided by: lyrics.net Edit: doozy
When the Earth was still flat and the clouds made of fire and the mountains stretched up to the sky sometimes higher
Folks roamed the earth like big rolling kegs they had two sets of arms they had two sets of legs
They had two faces peering out of one giant head so they could watch all around them as they talked while they read
And they never knew nothing of love It was before The Origin Of Love Origin of love The origin of Love Origin of love
Now there was three sexes then One that looked like two men glued up back too back They called the children of the Sun
And similar of shape and girth was the children of the earth they looked like two girls rolled up in one
And the children of the Moon Were like a fork shaped on a spoon They were part Sun part Earth part daughter part son
The Origin of Love
Now the gods grew quite scared of our strength and defiance And Thor said :"I'm gonna kill them all With my hammer like I killed the giants."
But Zeus said:"No, you better let me use my lightning like scissors Like I cut the legs of the whales dinosaurs and the lizards.
And then he grabbed up some bolts He let out a laugh He said:"I'll split them right down the middle I'm gonna cut them right up in half.
And the storm clouds gathered above Into great balls of fire
And then fire shot down From the sky in bolts Like shining blades of a knife And they ripped right through the flesh Of the children of the Sun and the Moon and the Earth
And some Indian god sewed the wound up To a hole full around to a belly to remind us of the price we pay
And Osiris, and the gods of the Nile gathered up a big storm to blow a hurricane to scatter us away. A flood of wind and rain a sea of tidal waves to wash us all away and if we don't behave They cut us down again And we'll be hopping round on one foot and looking through one eye
The last time I saw you we were just split in two you was looking at me I was looking at you
You had a way so familiar I could not recognize cause you had blood on your face I had blood in my eyes But I could swear by your expression that the pain down in your soul was the same as the one down in mine
That's the pain that cuts a straight line down through the heart We call it love we wrapped our armes around each other tried to shove ourselves back together we was making love making love
It was a cold dark evening such a long time ago By the mighty hand of Joe
It was a sad story how we became lonely two-leg creatures It was the story of the Origin of Love That's The origin of love The Origin of love (x3)
"Life is Wonderful" (from Wordplay) Artist: Jason Mraz Provided by: lyrics.net
It takes a crane to build a crane It takes two floors to make a story It takes an egg to make a hen It takes a hen to make an egg There is no end to what I'm saying
It takes a thought to make a word And it takes some words to make an action And it takes some work to make it work It takes some good to make it hurt It takes some bad for satisfaction
Chorus Ah la la la la la la life is wonderful Ah la la la la la la life goes full circle Ah la la la la la la life is wonderful Ah la la la la
It takes a night to make it dawn And it takes a day to make you yawn brother It takes some old to make you young It takes some cold to know the sun It takes the one to have the other
And it takes no time to fall in love But it takes you years to know what love is And it takes some fears to make you trust It takes those tears to make it rust It takes the dust to have it polished
Chorus Ah la la la la la la life is wonderful Ah la la la la la la life goes full circle Ah la la la la la la life is wonderful Ah la la la la
It takes some silence to make sound And It takes a loss before you found it And it takes a road to go nowhere It takes a toll to make you care It takes a hole to make a mountain
Chorus Ah la la la la la la life is wonderful Ah la la la la la la life goes full circle Ah la la la la la la life is wonderful Ah la la la la la la life is meaningful Ah la la la la la la la la la la life is wonderful Ah la la la la la la la la la la life is.. is so wonderful.. oh! Ah la la la la la life is wonderful Ah la la la la-ah Ah la la la-ah ah-a ah-a
Through the pieces of the sunlight, I look at you The soft wind makes your hair slowly fall and go back I love you, I really love you to me, that empty heart is so absolute.
Chorus You are smiling.. and you are smiling again just with that I am living in heaven through all the things my heart makes me do loving you is what I am thankful for most.
If the room of my memories is so small and I can't fit them all I’ll erase me then since I can't throw you out in this troubled world and tiring stories when we’re together, we hear all this is a song I love you, I love you the words of the world are so unworthy in this world, after having all the love if we two have more love, then that is my heart what makes me laugh and makes me live on your other name is love. Chorus You are smiling.. and you are smiling again just with that I am living in heaven through all the things my heart makes me do loving you is what I am thankful for most.
Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Last night, I spent hours working on a new banner only to have the program spaz out and shut down. It was very frustrating. However, I guess all in all it was a good thing (although my computer has been acting strange lately..hmm) because the banner that you now see on top is better than the one that I lost.
It's the weekend so you know what that means: time to watch Rude Woman! After that, I'm probably going to work on "Eye Candy: Issue No.4." In the meantime, here is some news that gives a big hint to who is going to be the focus of this issue.
Daniel Henney Stuns With Innate Language Skills
Pretty boy of the small screen Daniel Henney has become the hot topic among producers with his reported facility with languages. His roles in the TV drama My Name is Kim Sam Soon and Spring Waltz were of the gentlemanly type that melted the hearts of many young women, and in his new film Seducing Mr. Robin (directed by Kim Sang-woo), he speaks English, German, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Henney brings to life a Harvard Law School graduate who combines amazingly good looks with talent.
Henney, speaking English, is paired with Um Jung-hwa, who speaks Korean for a kind of global communication. Henney's lines were originally translated from Korean into English and then the native English speaker fixed the script to make it sound natural. But he also showed a hitherto hidden skill when speaking Japanese. Although he has never studied the language, Henney is able to pull off an almost perfect dialogue in a scene where he is dealing with Japanese businessmen.
"When I heard Henney speak Japanese, I realized that he has an amazing skill for languages," the executive producer says. "I hear that he made an MP3 recording and listened to it over and over again for practice." The actor already has a fine command of German, which he showed off in "Spring Waltz” in the role of global manager Phillip. But what is more surprising than any of these is his Korean skill. He is almost completely comfortable with day-to-day Korean, and word is that Henney has no problems communicating with those on set. In the movie, the actor delivers a final flourish in what is a fiendishly difficult language for foreigners to learn. Source: english.chosun.com
Just got back from work and very tired and lazy to find K-entertainment news. Plus, I have an essay that needs to be done ASAP. Anyways, if you'd like to see new pictures of Lee Da Hae in CFs, check out her thread at soompi.com from the links below. She's very cute!
While you're there, do drop a note to say hi or whatever you'd like. Keep the thread active. Heehee. Thanks!
In addition, I've updated "La La La" (the playlist). New songs include: "Sarang Am Ni Da" (OST from Bad Family), "How To Escape From The Sun- Gtr. Remix" (Bi/Rain), and "Big Big World" (Emilia). Enjoy!
Introducing...a new addition to the blog! Yay! Woot woot! *pop open the champagne bottle and run around crazily* Heehee.
What is it, you ask? "Um...is it content that has some substance and is worth my time reading?" Haha, joking! (Or you're not asking because by now, you're not here at the blog reading this since you have long clicked that little "X" on the browser window and left the site because I've scared you away.)
Um, anyway...I've discovered a super cool technology in the blosgosphere, and that is radio.blog. So, if you look on the right side bar, I've put up a few of my favorite songs for your listening pleasure.
The K-drama subbing team WITH S2 has recently started a clothing drive. Please support soompi.com and support us in keeping fansubbing free for everyone. The link to the store is in the sidebar under "support with S2, support soompi." Below is more detailed information about our new store. Thank you!

Look to your right side bar and you'll see two new additions to the column: the "Features" section and the "Sweet or Sour?" section. It's a way to organize the blog a little bit better and also for you, dear blog visitors, to navigate easier.
"Features" section The articles in this section primarily will be focused on Korean artistes. (Sort of like an introduction to Korean entertaiment and its star players for people who are new to K-entertaiment and would like to learn more about it.)
"Sweet or Sour?" section The articles in this section are "my two cents" on the shows that I've seen. The ratings for the reviews will be based on a "sweet or sour" theme. Below are examples of ratings.
